The Role:
Embark on a challenging career as a Balance of Plant Design Electrical Engineer with a global leader in renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and select primary and secondary electrical plant, including HV switchgear, transformers, and protection devices.
* Perform protection, load flow, and fault studies using power systems analysis software.
* Develop comprehensive project documentation, such as Scopes of Work, equipment specifications, and setting sheets.
* Review and optimize electrical designs, including single-line diagrams and grid compliance studies.
* Provide technical support during sales, installation, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally focused on power systems.
* 2 to 5 years of experience in electrical engineering design, with preference for previous experience in wind farms or renewable energy projects.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and DigSilent PowerFactory, along with MS Office Suite.
* Advanced English communication skills, both written and spoken.
* Australian Driver's License and full Australian working rights derived from a citizenship, Permanent Residency or substantive work visa.
