Look no further – Scitech is the place for you!At Scitech we deliver informative programs and experiences to engage minds, inspire imaginations and promote STEM learning.We are currently seeking a highly dynamic and collaborative Procurement Manager who will be responsible for the organisation’s procurement strategy and continual improvement of processes to enable benefit realization of a central procurement function.The Manager, Procurement is responsible for leading the procurement team in supporting the organisation through the provision of centralized procurement administration, support, vendor management and applying expertise to assist internal stakeholders to plan, develop, source and manage procurement arrangements to meet business area objectives.In this role you will:Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategiesLead, direct and develop centralized procurement functions and resourcesCoordinate end to end procurement processes including but not limited to responding to purchase requests by internal stakeholders, procuring and selecting vendor quotes and purchase order/requisition approvalsMaintain and update procurement records and databases/spreadsheets, provide advice, information and guidance on related matters to staff to provide governance and support good practiceVendor management, including developing vendor relationships and ensuring performance and best priceAssist team with day-to-day procurement functionsWho are we looking for?We are seeking an individual on a full-time basis who can manage internal and external customer expectations relating to procurement related policies, processes and queries.Other skills and experience required includes:Relevant qualification in supply chain managementDemonstrated experience in a similar procurement role, preferable within the NFP sectorDemonstrated understanding of accounts payable tax practice (including GST) and processing, including 2-way matching, batch processing, EFT uploads and other payment methodsStrong people management and leadership experienceNational Police Check or ability to obtain oneEmployee BenefitsSome of the perks of working at Scitech include:Birthday leaveWellness daysPurchased leave policy;Gifted leave across Christmas and New Year Period;Discounts on specified goods, services and activities;Scitech membership and discovery shop discount; andCentral location with close proximity to public transport routes.About UsThere are over 2.5 million minds in Western Australia.
