About the Role As a Senior Student Support Worker you will: Operationally supervise the day to day activities of the Residential Boarding Campus to ensure a safe and secure boarding school environment for students who attend the local state college. Jointly manage the activities and staff training of the Student Support Workers You will monitor and liaise with students, parents and school on a regular basis to support and mentor students as they progress through school, ensuring their health and pastoral care needs are met. About You The ideal applicant should have: Experience in working with adolescents in a boarding school campus. Current First Aid training or a willingness to obtain a First Aid certificate The possession of a Working with Children Blue Card and a car licence are mandatory. The successful applicant will have to undergo a Criminal History Check before employment commences. A willingness to obtain a LHR bus licence is compulsory. This is a 24hr, seven day facility with staff rostered on a variety of shifts throughout the week and the weekend during school terms. This includes active/awake night shifts for each staff member.
