Leading Not-For-Profit organisation based in the Inner City is seeking an experienced Finance Systems Accountant to commence in a contract role, assisting with project work and then transitioning into a Business As Usual (BAU) role.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity that combines project work, upgrades, training, and stakeholder engagement. After an initial settling-in period, you will be offered one day per week of remote work. This may lead to a permanent role after the 9-month contract for the right candidate.
* Work closely with the project manager on upgrading Technology One from Ci to Ci Anywhere.
* Provide support for the organisation's financial management systems.
* Maintain reports, ETLs, system configuration, security, and training.
* Support continuous improvement of financial systems, focusing on efficiency and data management.
* Manage the configuration and maintenance of the finance system, including workflows and chart of accounts.
* Design, plan, test, and implement new system features and upgrades in collaboration with software vendors, finance, IT, and end-users.
* Provide training and support to finance and other departments.
About You
The successful applicant will have/be:
* A tertiary qualification in finance/accounting.
* Extensive experience providing functional support and systems administration of Technology One or equivalent systems.
* Experience working with various systems.
* Solid knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as well-developed stakeholder management and engagement.
* Experience in implementations and upgrades.
* A team player with a positive and professional approach.
