About the role:
The Legal Associate Director/Director will play a pivotal role in leading a cross functional team in the development, maintenance and strategy of our OMS and other complimentary solutions. The role will be responsible for overseeing the creation, curation, and updating of content that helps our clients navigate their compliance obligations with ease and accuracy. The role will work closely with legal and risk experts, IT professionals, and client service teams to ensure that the solution remains relevant, accurate, and user-friendly. The role can be either full time or 4 days a week depending on the successful candidate's preferences.
Main responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with the Solution Partners providing support and stepping in where required to ensure seamless leadership and continuity within the team. This role will also take responsibility for the people management of the content delivery team.
2. Driving the strategy, design, and roadmap of OMS and other complimentary solutions, ensuring that the solutions align with the overall business goals and meet the evolving needs of the market.
3. Managing the day-to-day execution of content delivery, ensuring all content is accurate, timely, and aligns with the relevant strategy. Oversee the core team responsible for content creation and distribution.
4. Leading the planning, monitoring, and reporting on content work delivery, ensuring that all content-related activities are on track and meet predefined objectives and deadlines.
5. Building and maintaining a robust content delivery methodology, incorporating an effective Quality Assurance/ Quality Control framework. Foster a continuous improvement mindset to enhance content quality and delivery processes.
6. Lead the execution of Go To Market activities in collaboration with the Marketing & Growth and Brand, Marketing & Communications teams, ensuring that marketing efforts are aligned with the strategy and contribute to its success

About you:
7. 10+ years legal and/or compliance experience. A legal qualification is highly desirable.
8. You are looking to work full time or 4 days a week (the role can be either).
9. Experience in highly regulated retail industries, for example financial services, telecommunications, energy, regulators, etc. is highly desirable.
10. Experience establishing and building a new offering, service or solution, including taking a central role in business development activities.
11. Exemplary legal and compliance technical skills. Familiarity with obligation management systems and their application in a legal and compliance context would be beneficial but is not essential.
12. Demonstrated experience in achieving strategic initiatives, client needs and differentiation through innovation.
13. Highly effective "doer" with proven success in leading quality delivery of complex processes and driving collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.
14. Strong stakeholder management experience in engaging and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
15. Strong team leadership experience including supervising, motivating and performance managing a multi-disciplinary team.
16. Demonstrated experience in overcoming obstacles through critical thinking, analysis and decision making.
17. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to translate complex legal information into user-friendly content.
