As a Counselling and Career Development Officer - Call Centre Representative, you will be a vital part of our support system, providing guidance and advice to students as they explore their educational and career options. This is a temp contract with the possibility for extension and future career opportunities. We are looking for standout candidates who are customer focused to communicate with prospective and current students by responding to enquiries, provide information, resolve issues and perform a range of administration tasks. This is a contract role so we need candidates who can hit the ground running, are comfortable with a fast-paced training period and able to adapt quickly. Responsibilities include but not limited to: You will be handling high volume incoming enquiries from students via telephone, email and online chat Offer guidance to students who reach out to the call centre seeking information about courses, career pathways, and educational goals Provide detailed information on programs, course requirements, admission procedures, and career opportunities to prospective and current students Maintain accurate records of student interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations General administrative tasks Skill/Experience: Experience working in a customer service or call centre role is preferred Tech savvy - Ability to pick up new systems quickly Relevant counselling or career development certification is a plus as well as previous experience in counselling, career development, or education advising Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Empathy and the ability to build rapport with students Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team How to Apply: Please email Brooke Dover at brookedcharterhouse.com.au with your updated resume and highlight your key skills and experience for this opportunity.
