Content Director Bundaberg (+on-air Announcer)

Reporting into The General Manager & the Head of Content – Regional, the Content Director is responsible for leading the local content teams at Hitz939 & 4BU 1332 Bundaberg.
This role is based in our Bundaberg office, you’ll be working with two local Breakfast Shows plus two local drive show daily, as well as your on-air announcing morning show.
You will be responsible for ensuring the station's strategic objectives are achieved through excellent communication with the local management team consisting of the General Manager, a Promotions Manager and General Sales Manager.
About The Role:
We are on the hunt for a born leader with a proven track-record inspiring and managing content teams as your primary aim will be ensuring ARN’s strategic plan is delivered through all content, and ultimately you will be responsible for delivering winning, engaging audio.
You will maintain exceptional levels of on-air execution, ensuring that only fresh and relevant content goes to air and that our listeners love what they hear. Your leadership and guidance will also help develop ARN’s next generation of content superstars!
About You:
* Proven success within a Content Leadership role, ie: Executive Producer, Acting Content Director or Content Director.
* Expertise in talent management and show development.
* Outstanding communication skills and the ability to engage both brands target audiences.
* Exceptional time management, the ability to maintain focus and output when working under pressure.
* A keen passion for developing and motivating others to perform at their best.
* The ability to execute a strategy consistently within a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Possess an intimate knowledge of CRA’s Codes of Practice and Broadcasting Standards.
* You should be primed to create engaging content on air with the ability to entertain and engage with local listeners.
