About the Team

About the Role
As the Business Development Executive, reporting to the Sales Director, you will:
Be a proven hunter whose range of skills and strategic capabilities ensure increased IT solution and Managed service opportunities across diverse sectors
Develop and diversify business through increased activity & profitability
Your knowledge of IT and extensive experience drive future growth of the organisation
Developing growth strategies and plans for new business
Manage and retain relationships with key existing clients as well as increasing client base through new business acquisitions
Have in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
Negotiating with stakeholders
Identify and map business strengths and customer needs
Research business opportunities and viable income streams
Follow industry trends locally and internationally
Draft and review contracts
Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
Being aligned to a target and KPIs
Partake in marketing and lead generation activity
Travel when necessary

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following skills:
Relevant qualification, or significant experience in the field.
Ability to write business proposals
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including oral and written
Stakeholder Business Management skills
Proven ability to negotiate
Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a wider sales team
Proven experience working to and exceeding targets
Experience or familiarity with ConnectWise and Connectwise Sell would be an advantage.
