This role will be offered FIFO from Perth to Robe Valley.This unique role will see you provide technical assistance, support, and expert advice on continuous improvement practices across Mine Water Management.
This includes developing, coaching and mentoring other professionals and supporting the decision-making processes of leadership.Reporting to the MP&E Engineering Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following duties:Adhere to all Rio Tinto health and safety standards, policies and procedures and report any safety hazards and risks to the appropriate channelsActively foster and communicate a positive safety culture to promote safety awareness and compliance, encouraging prioritisation of safety in all activities and operationsFoster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities utilising a range of Rio Tinto best practicesCollaborate closely with other functions and stakeholders in the performance of dutiesSupport improvement projects relating to network optimisation (pumps, pipework, metering), Sub $2m projects and other projects within the network (i.e.
