HDU/PICU/NICU skills would therefore be considered highly desirable.The department consists of 6 consultants with a strong commitment to teaching, with 6 Registrar positions, the majority of which are filled by Advanced Trainees. Services include a 30-bed dedicated paediatric ward, an 8-bed neonatal unit with ventilation and Nitric Oxide facilities and access to ICU beds as required. The hospital provides the following services: Day Procedure, Emergency, Intensive Care and High Dependency, Maternity, Medical, Outpatients, Paediatric, Special Care Nursery, Surgical and Mental Health, plus a range of clinical support services.It is also accredited with the Australian Council of Healthcare Standards and has links to many external research organisations.The Location:An intriguing place that hosts a jam-packed calendar of festivals, celebrations, and quirky events throughout the year.
