Reporting to Professor Sharon Lewin, the DCAE will protect and enhance the Institute's reputation through effective communication and stakeholder engagement while aligning efforts with the Institute's vision.Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing team, overseeing the advancement portfolio to secure philanthropic support for research and education and developing and implementing a strategic communications plan. Experience in government relations is highly valued, as the DCAE will collaborate with the University's Government Relations team to monitor policy developments and strengthen relationships, ensuring the Institute's objectives are effectively achieved. As a member of the executive team, the DCAE will collaborate closely with senior leaders across the Institute, the University of Melbourne, and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.About you We are seeking an accomplished leader with a postgraduate degree and extensive experience in high-impact roles within large, complex organisations.
