Our commitment to personalised learning backed by research-led teaching approaches empowers our students to develop their personal strengths and reach their personal best; be it in the classroom, sports field, or on stage, in a modern, high performing and collaborative environment.The OpportunityThe Board of SCG is looking for potential Board, Committee or Foundation members who have specialist skills and connections in the following areas of expertise:Education Leaders including Tertiary networksExperience with the development and execution of a Designated Gift Recipient (DGR) foundationPrevious Board ExperienceResponsibilities and ProcessThe Board is responsible for:Overseeing an effective governance and risk management framework for the SchoolSetting its strategic directionEnsuring high standards of professional and ethical conduct are maintainedMonitoring and reviewing educational deliveryApproving annual budgets and budget reviewsMonitoring and reviewing financial performancePrincipal accountabilities and performanceCurrently, the Board meets bi-monthly and considers urgent matters out-of-session as required. The Board also holds in-camera meetings as required.
