Reporting directly to the COO, the BDM will focus on identifying, attracting, and securing NDIS participants to meet occupancy goals across all states and territories. This role demands a proactive, participant-focused professional with a strong understanding of the NDIS framework and SDA services, combined with excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.Key Responsibilities:Participant Procurement & EngagementDrive participant placement in Brighter Living Australia’s SDA properties to achieve and exceed occupancy targets.Identify potential participants and work collaboratively with their families, guardians, and support networks to meet their accommodation needs.Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective participants by leveraging partnerships with support coordinators, plan managers, and service providers.Stakeholder EngagementBuild and nurture relationships with NDIS stakeholders, including Local Area Coordinators (LACs), plan managers, and allied health professionals, to facilitate participant referrals.Act as the primary contact for participants and their families throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition into SDA properties.Represent Brighter Living Australia at community events, expos, and forums to increase awareness of SDA offerings and attract participants.Collaborate with the marketing team to design targeted campaigns aimed at participant acquisition.Create tailored presentations and materials that effectively communicate the benefits of Brighter Living Australia’s SDA properties.Implement region-specific strategies to engage local communities and connect with potential participants.Operational CoordinationWork closely with the operations and compliance teams to ensure participant needs are met and regulatory requirements are maintained.Provide regular feedback to the COO on participant trends, barriers to procurement, and opportunities for service improvement.Support the continuous enhancement of participant onboarding processes to ensure a positive experience.Reporting & Performance MonitoringTrack and report on participant procurement activities, including referral sources, conversion rates, and occupancy progress.Monitor and analyse market trends to refine participant acquisition strategies.Meet and exceed KPIs related to participant placement and retention.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development, participant engagement, or similar role within the disability or community services sectors.Demonstrated success in participant acquisition or stakeholder engagement.Experience working with NDIS participants and their support networks is highly desirable.What We Offer:A rewarding role with the opportunity to positively impact the lives of individuals with disabilities.A supportive and inclusive workplace culture.Competitive salary package, including performance-based incentives.Opportunities for professional growth and development.
