Job Duties: • Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers engaged in foundation, framing, roofing, cement finishing, tile setting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating, and painting.
• Job Site Coordination - Manage day-to-day activities on site and ensured that the project runs smoothly from start to finish as per Building code.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other subcontractors • Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality • Manage construction sub-trades and suppliers on the job site and mitigated issues as they came up in the course of a project • Requisition materials and supplies • Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies • Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions • Prepare work progress reports • May manage the operations of company • Select tools, equipment, and construction materials from storage and transport items to work site.
• Assist and work closely with Concrete finishers, Carpenters, finishers, flooring, Drywall Installer and painters to complete tasks.
• May also supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers.
• Clean work areas, machines, equipment to maintain a clean and safe job sites, free of debris.
Requirements: • Minimum 2 years of Site Supervisory experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years siding, flooring, painting, concrete finishing (preferably) or carpentry experience.
