The Role
As the Planning Manager for our Telecom Plant based in Dee Why, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of planners including production planners and raw material planner.
Telecom Australia Planning Department working closely with the Commercial team on the demand and with the production team and affiliates for the supply.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Lead the Telecom Sales & Operations Planning meeting to align supply (production and purchase) to demand (sales).
• Effectively communicate with the commercial team on market requirements, order fulfillment, delivery schedule and re-scheduling across market segment.
• Plan and execute stock replenishment based on inventory level and sales forecast respecting to the DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding) target.
• Create master plan for Dee Why supply and translate to each production planner area and intercompany purchase.
• Monitor and follow up supply plan through production planners to meet committed delivery date.
• Monitor raw material and drum planning including stock on hand, minimum stock level, replenishment plan.
About You:
* Ideally 5+ years of relevant experience in a planning related role
* Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain area
* Excellent working knowledge of planning systems and techniques
* Strong interpersonal & influencing skills to collaborate effectively
* Strong Microsoft Excel skill and experience in SAP APO is ideal
