Job Title: Community Speech Pathologist - Diverse Caseloads
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing comprehensive therapy programs for our diverse caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide assessment and intervention to clients with communication and swallowing difficulties to help them achieve and maintain optimal independence and quality of life.
* Train carers in communicating effectively with clients, and work with assistants and other professionals to deliver effective therapeutic outcomes to reach functional goals.
* Develop augmentative and alternative communication systems tailored to individual clients needs.
* Develop swallowing intervention and mealtime plans and train carers on effective mealtime management support.
* Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
* Current police check.
* Current working with children card and disability worker screening card.
* Current driver's license.
* Current public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
