As a Washman, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and productivity of our manufacturing operations.

You will wear full Overalls PPE and be involved in cleaning of industrial machinery.
Hence this is a loud, dirty and dusty environment to work in.
Washing and maintaining components of production machinery via high pressure hosingMaintaining housekeeping to Company standardsOperating Production Machinery – both conveyer belt and control room operatingMonitoring the flow of clay and other raw materials and products into machines, and adjusting valves and controls to specificationsOperating concrete mixing, stacking and splitting machinesCollecting quality lab samples and handing to the Quality labEnsure process efficiencies are achieved and maintainedEnsure all work is undertaken in a safe and efficient mannerEnsure production is in line with the specified production scheduleSweeping, shovelling and removing excess products from the production line floorsEnsure reasons for deviations from the schedule are communicated with TLEnsure Housekeeping standards are maintainedData entry into Machine computer systemsEssential RequirementsAbility to work a 7 day rotating shift roster (must be available to work weekendsPrevious experience in an industrial Manufacturing environment as both Machine operator and labourerHave a strong mechanical aptitude Ability to use computers for the entry and retrieval of process data and machine operationQuality assurance experienceMust be prepared to complete physically demanding workDemonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplaceForklift license is advantageousIf this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Mike on ****** your resume.
