Position Information Tamworth West Public School is located near the centre of Tamworth and services the needs of approximately 360 students from very diverse backgrounds within the city of Tamworth. We currently house 14 mainstream classes, two moderate intellectual disability/autism support classes and a support class for students with mild intellectual disability. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to positively contribute to our whole school culture by working collaboratively with staff members, students, families and external agencies. Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum to build, implement and review effective approaches that meet the needs of students as determined by their Personalised Learning and Support Plans and transition plans. Demonstrated capacity to create an inclusive, well-managed classroom environment through the implementation of evidence-informed wellbeing strategies. Conditions An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
