Description of the role: We're seeking an Assistant Advisor to join our Wealth Advisory team.
In this role, you'll guide individuals towards securing their financial futures.
By offering tailored strategies, you'll help clients achieve their investment, retirement, and wealth management goals while making a meaningful impact on their lives.
What makes you 'just right': A degree in Commerce, Economics, or similar discipline preferred1-2+ years' experience working in the industry within financial planning / advice, superannuation consulting environment, technical role or accounting is preferableA desire to invest in themselves as much as we will invest in them!Exceptional client service focus and excellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional lateral thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong Word, Excel and analytical skillsPersonable and good fun people who want to build their careers with us!What your day might look like: Attending and contributing to new and existing client meetingsLeading the client relationship in partnership with a Senior AdvisorWorking with Partners / Senior Advisors to develop and produce high level and truly complex strategy advice documentsInvestment analysis, portfolio construction and managementResearching and developing financial strategies across wealth accumulation, investment strategies, balance sheet re-structuring, debt management, estate planning, tax minimisation and asset protectionProviding strategic input to the preparation of client review documentsImplementation of client recommendations, including portfolio trading, to bring a strategy to lifeAttending to client queries and liaising with other professionals to deliver great client outcomesWhat makes us 'just right': Clear career pathway to Advisor with educational support along the wayProfessional year supportCollegiate, client centric advice culture – not a sales culture!Opportunity to work on UHNW family (office) groups, business owners, executives as well as asset consulting / portfolio management for institutional investorsWe have a proven track record of developing talented individuals into high-quality AdvisorsExtensive in-house training covering investments, tax, structures (Trusts, Companies Partnerships etc), asset protection (using entities not just insurance), as well as the soft skills needed to engage with a client on an advice basis without 'selling'We advise on wealth creation, tax minimisation, superannuation (incl.
