Reporting to the QLD Sales Manager you will be responsible for:Constant maintenance of the machine delivery schedule, working with the Service Dept to ensure the scheduled delivery dates are adhered to, and keeping upper management abreast of any changes to said schedule.Chair weekly scheduling meetings with the service department and be responsible for updating the schedule to ensure accurate forecasting of sales.Providing administrative support to the Sales Manager and Sales department team.Conduct machine inspections prior to them being released to the customer.Organise and obtain QLD Registration for machines prior to delivery.Supplier liaison for machinery equipment attachments including purchasing and milestone management.Finance liaison for machinery financing.Support the logistics process for equipment.Approve sales invoices and PO's created by the sales administration team and approve customer purchase orders created by sales representatives.Ensure constant development in the sales process working with customer satisfaction surveys to back improvements.To be successful you will need:Demonstrated experience in a similar Coordinator role or experience working within a Sales team, or experience in any process-coordination position that required you to be able to think flexibly and come up with alternative solutions. Note: a rigid mindset is not suited to this position…lateral thinking and being able to develop work-arounds to unforeseen issues is key for success in this role.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Demonstrated MS Office experience, including Word and Excel.Excellent interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and level of accuracy, noting that you will be inspecting machinery prior to release to the customer so an eye for detail is essential.Ability to liaise with various stakeholders both internally and externally.A valid QLD Drivers licence.Here at Hitachi, we believe that success comes from the partnership of our market-leading products and the quality of our people.
