The Opportunity
Our Administrative Assistants are an integral part of our firm and assist in the smooth running of our practice groups and ensure our Legal Assistants and legal teams perform at the highest level.
As an Administrative Assistant, you will work in the office Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
You day could involve:
1. Providing timely and accurate support to Legal Assistants with administrative support needs.
2. Delivering high quality, accurate work whilst managing deadlines, responding to change and the competing priorities of all work.
3. Meeting required deadlines and negotiate alternate timeframes when necessary.
4. Liaising with business services and other services to coordinate urgent mail and courier requests.
5. Preparing files for archiving and manage return and retrieval of files following firm guidelines.
6. Assisting with internal and external practice group events and functions.
Skills & experience:
We are seeking expressions of interest from candidates who demonstrate:
7. Impeccable attention to detail.
8. Demonstrated enthusiasm and proactivity in the workplace.
9. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
10. Strong time management and organisational skills; ability to prioritise your time across a number of busy matters.
11. Good written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
