Senior Electrical Drafter Based in Newcastle (2 hours North of Sydney), We are looking for an Senior Electrical Drafter for our client who is a leading consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative engineering solutions for the water and mining industries.
Our focus on sustainability and efficiency drives our projects, and we are looking for an Electrical Drafter to join our dynamic team.
As an Electrical Drafter, you will be integral to developing detailed electrical designs and schematics for projects in the water and mining sectors.
Collaborating closely with engineers and project managers, you will help produce high-quality drafting work that meets industry standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities: Create detailed electrical drawings and schematics for water and mining projects.
Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate and integrated designs.
Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality technical documentation.
Assist in conducting site assessments and compiling relevant data for designs.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and standards in all drawings.
Revise and update designs based on feedback and project changes.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting Experience drafting servicing the water and mining industry Background from a design consultancy preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor experience preferrable Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
