A local Not For Profit client requires the services of an experienced Finance Officer.
About the role
As a Finance Officer, you will be the expert in managing information systems ensuring accuracy of financial data to support business performance reporting in line with corporate goals and government funding objectives. You will maintain accurate information collection for finalising detailed budgets, accounts, and reports in a timely manner to meet organisational business requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Providing analytical support services to respond to client requests and support business case development and decision making.
2. Preparing advice on complex financial and related issues in the form of briefs, reports, and papers to respond to stakeholders’ requests for information.
3. Identifying and delivering finance and related initiatives in partnership with other stakeholders and teams to build performance that supports people and organisation objectives.
4. Working with Nationally Registered Housing scheme provider.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of a recognised professional accounting body such as CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia; or Diploma of Accounting and relevant experience.
2. Advanced MS Excel, and experience using financial systems such as MYOB or Xero.
