In this role, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based clinical care through various programs and funding streams (NDIS).
Work closely with the community team including plan managers, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Chiropractors, Exercise Physiologists to provide comprehensive care.
Your main responsibilities will include providing high-quality and evidence-based care, conducting assessments and observations, developing individualised treatment plans, organising equipment trials, recommending home modifications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
This is an opportunity to build and maintain relationships with a new client base while providing high-quality and evidence-based care.
Observe clients perform certain activities to evaluate their condition and needs.
Develop suitable treatment plans based on evaluation results.
Provide necessary treatment to clients based on their individual needs.
Work autonomously to prioritise and complete tasks, maintain records and provide patient reports
Skills:
Strong clinical skills in delivering evidence-based occupational therapy interventions.
Excellent communication skills for building rapport with clients as well as collaborating within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Ability to assess client's condition accurately using appropriate tools/techniques.
Knowledge of assistive aids/equipment prescribing process.
Qualifications:
Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy
AHPRA registration
Minimum of 2 years' experience
Previous NDIS experience (required)
NDIS Workers screening check
Current Police Check
Current drivers licence
Current Covid Vaccinations
Eligible to work permanently in Australia
