Description RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of chiller systems, compressors, and the regulatory requirements across Asia, ensuring compliance with local and international standard. Translate regional regulatory requirements into product design specifications for factory and offering teams, ensuring our chiller products are compliant and optimized for each market. Serve as a central technical liaison between the factory, offering, and service teams, clarifying requirements and ensuring cohesive communication and alignment. Work closely with Regional Service teams to co-develop a process and program to grow the CE Skills and Knowledge, enabling CEs to resolve field issues, maintain performance standards, field technical support on complex issue, and respond to service inquiries effectively. Equip service teams with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to independently support and troubleshoot chiller systems, ensuring they are proficient in product knowledge and compliance requirements. Develop and deliver training sessions, documentation, and service guidelines tailored to the unique needs of each region, fostering autonomy and expertise within local teams. Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to incorporate insights from field and regulatory feedback into product improvements. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance product performance and serviceability, meeting or exceeding regulatory and customer expectations in each market. Work with offering and sales teams to align technical specifications with market needs, ensuring customer requirements are met. Act as a point of escalation for technical issues encountered by service teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting guidance and support. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree with Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and HVAC design principles Have knowledge on local and international standards and testing methods. Possessed analytical skills and computer skills 5 -8 years of relevant experience in air-cooled, water-cooled, screw, centrifugal compressors, and HVAC system design and manufacturing. Expertise in oil-less magnetic compressors and system piping, condenser/evaporator design, and safety codes is a plus. Extensive knowledge of Chiller systems, applications, and troubleshooting. Strong organizational and project management skills to manage multiple priorities. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
