Position Description :
As a Butcher at FARM FRESH HALAL MEAT & GROCERS PTY LTD, you will play a vital role in preparing, cutting, and packaging halal-certified meat products, ensuring adherence to halal standards and maintaining high levels of hygiene and customer service.
Our shop is located in the heart of Riverstone NSW 2765.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Cut, trim, debone, tie, and grind meats such as beef, poultry, and lamb to prepare them for cooking.
2. Arrange and display meat cuts and products in an attractive manner to catch shoppers' attention.
3. Prepare special meat cuts as ordered by customers.
4. Shape, lace, and tie roasts using boning knives, skewers, and twine.
5. Select and prepare meat to produce smallgoods.
6. Operate machines to grind, mix, mince, and tenderise meat.
7. Make seasonings and pickles by mixing spices, salt, and other ingredients.
8. Operate sausage filling machines, smoking chambers, and cooking kettles and vats.
9. Advise customers on the suitability and uses of cuts of meat.
10. Assist in menu planning and scheduling, and in estimating food production costs.
11. Hold a valid Driver’s License.
12. Have experience within the butcher industry (preferably with qualifications).
Salary and Benefits:
Annual salary: $70,000 - $80,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
Superannuation contributions in accordance with Australian law.
