In this role you will:
* Manage spatial information and analysis for the State-wide Abandoned Mine Lands Program and State-owned non-commercial water assets to ensure effective project delivery of works to reduce public safety and health risks.
* Expertise in the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise. Particularly in Web GIS Content, applications and web-services to manager, analyse, and visualise spatial data. Including a level of skill in handling large datasets, PostGres and Spatial SQL including management of Metadata.
* Implement strategies and policies towards our ArcGIS Online and Portal environments. Responsible for the data architecture of geospatial information relating to abandoned mines and their management. Proficiency with data architecture principles and best practices.
* Plan, design, and develop Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI) ArcGIS Online Web applications including experience builder, operations dashboards and field maps applications.
* Management of the Abandoned Mines data collection through data, quality control procedures. data validation, cleaning, and quality control for structured and unstructured data including accuracy and completeness.
* Provide problem-solving skills in a complex environment using leading-edge technologies e.g. GIS, Power business Intelligence (BI), and other tools to produce data visualisations, reports, and geospatial insights.

* Current open C Class driver license
