The Role
Multiple Casual Relief Teaching opportunities at the following campuses:
* Malvern Campus
* Wheelers Hill Junior Campus
Key Duties
* Implement the lesson plans and resources provided by the regular teacher to deliver engaging learning activities that meet the students' needs.
* Observe and support students’ understanding and engagement with the lesson, providing feedback and addressing any immediate learning needs as they arise.
* Adhere to the prepared instructional activities to maintain continuity in learning, ensuring students receive consistent and appropriate educational experiences.
* Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture.
* Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong
* Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
Skills and Experience
* Experience and understanding in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program is an advantage
* Sound understanding of the principles of teaching and learning in the primary years
* Hold a current VIT registration
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire children
* Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
* Must hold and have maintained a current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis training and Asthma training
