Corporate Division The Corporate Division is responsible for enabling the effective delivery of the NDIS Commissioner's core functions, as outlined in the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013. ICT Governance and Assurance The ICT Governance and Assurance team partners with NDIS Commission employees, government agencies and third-party suppliers. The team is responsible for shaping the strategic direction, architecture, security, and effective management of information and technology resources within the NDIS Commission. Its primary purpose is to ensure that ICT initiatives align with the NDIS. Key Duties of the Role The Information Management section is responsible for overseeing the management of the NDIS Commission's information assets (data, records, and information). We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven person with the relevant skills and experience to join the section at the EL 1 level. The Information Management Officer responsibilities include: Providing expertise across a broad range of digital information management activities (e.g. preparing briefs, developing or revising information management policies, guidelines and procedures, customising training materials, assisting with the development and implementation of frameworks and strategies, overseeing sentencing projects and transfers). Demonstrating in-depth knowledge of legislation, policies, and regulations relevant to information management within the Commonwealth. Understanding the possible impact of information management activities on strategic and operational outcomes of the Commission. Engaging and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes and promote the section (e.g. induction to new staff, meetings, other forums). Undertaking analysis, research, and review of projects or programs (e.g. assessment of business functionality in business systems, EDRMS configuration, mapping of business processes to identify inefficiencies and information management gaps). Coordinating the development and implementation of information management awareness and training. Planning for the resources required to deliver business-as-usual information management services and training. Supervising lower classification levels. Actively participating and representing the Commission at National Archives of Australia's forums and training activities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
