About the Role The primary purpose of this role is to administer the end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring accurate input into the finance system, timely payment of creditors, preparation of monthly journals and efficient reporting. Additionally, the role provides support to the Finance team through the month-end and year-end processes. Joining the finance team of 3 CPA qualified accountants, there will be opportunity for growth and mentorship if you are studying/planning to study a CPA qualification. Key Responsibilities Administer all facets of the Accounts Payable process. Ensure invoices are appropriately approved under the NBCF delegation matrix. Ensure Accounts Payable and general ledger records are up to date and make payments to vendors as required, in a timely manner. Provide relevant and timely reports regarding Accounts Payable. Ensure accurate recording of general ledger transactions relating to Accounts Payable, in consultation with the Senior Accountant. Manage the credit card process and all associated general ledger transactions. Monitor the Accounts Inbox on a daily basis. Liaise with creditors regarding any issues relating to their invoice/s, or account. Reconcile creditor statements on a monthly basis where appropriate. Prepare monthly Facebook & Google reconciliations. Perform month end duties including preparation of general ledger reconciliations and other duties as required. General Finance & Administration queries including credit applications, vendor requests, bank account confirmations and other ad-hoc requests & queries. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Demonstrated experience in accounts payable and general administrational duties Effective time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise duties Strong level of accuracy and high quality presentation of work Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders of all levels Exceptional written and verbal communication skills How to Apply The National Breast Cancer Foundation has exclusively appointed Sharp and Carter to manage the recruitment of this role.
