You will contribute to operational practices and provide expertise in the development, coordination and implementation of research and administrative strategies to ensure the successful management of clinical trials and research activities.You will work collaboratively with staff, medical officers, and patients to support the provision of safe, high quality service planning, engagement, and development of new service models to support the Local Health Network and its consumers.The Nurse Consultant - Clinical Research Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing excellence in client-centred care and the success of clinical trial and research activities.About you:The successful applicant must have an appropriate degree and be eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practicing certificate.What We're Looking For:Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.Proven ability to work autonomously and in multi-disciplinary teams to achieve research outcomes.Demonstrated competence in clinical trial procedures, including ECGs, venipuncture, IV drug administration.Experience in managing patient visits and clinical assessments.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex situations.Commitment to cultural safety and understanding of rural and remote health challenges.Sound knowledge of clinical research guidelines, medical terminology and quality improvement systems.Why Join Us:In addition to the annual salary and entitlements (superannuation & leave loading), we also offer salary sacrifice benefits.Relocation reimbursement of up to $13,000 may be available to people relocating for this opportunity.Supportive and friendly work environment with continuous professional and personal development opportunities.Conveniently located approximately halfway between two major cities: Melbourne and Adelaide.Affordable and relaxing country lifestyle with regional city conveniences.Applicant Information:The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
