Fixed Term Temporary Full-time from 30/12/2024 up to 03/08/2025.
Remuneration package of up to $13,724 p.m., comprising base salary range of $5081.10 - $5081.10 p.f.
(+ applicable allowances/benefits) (Nurse Grade 7), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

About the role
The Nurse Educator position leads and delivers educational services at an advanced level, enabling an evidence-based learning culture for the professional development of nursing & midwifery staff.
The position sits within Clinical Practice Development Services and facilitates opportunities for learning via the design, implementation, and evaluation of clinical education programs.
The nurse educator will hold a portfolio subject to the needs of the organisation.
Skills and experience Ability to provide expert nursing leadership and coordination within an education environment.Understanding of teaching and learning in the health care environment (adult learning principles) with demonstrated clinical teaching and facilitation skills.Sound knowledge of contemporary nursing practice and theory and the ability to apply relevant legislation, guidelines and standards.Ability to integrate the strategic direction and priorities for quality improvement into the clinical service, establishing a quality framework.Advanced leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution and change management skills to ensure customer focused service provision amongst the multidisciplinary team.High level of communication skills required for problem solving and decision making.Role requirements Bachelor of Nursing or Bachelor of Midwifery, or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate Please refer to the role description for further details.
