About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a Service Manager to lead the South West Sydney team in delivering high-quality mental health services across various programs focused on suicide prevention and aftercare.
The Service Manager reports to the Manager, Mental Health and leads a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient, effective, safe, and high-quality consumer management and service delivery consistent with best practice guidelines.
This is a full-time role available until 30 June 2025. We welcome applicants interested in part-time opportunities as well.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with program staff and stakeholders to achieve program objectives and deliverables
* Mentor and develop team members' skills and performance
* Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures
Requirements
* Certification as an allied health professional (e.g., psychologist, social worker, mental health nurse, occupational therapist, or Aboriginal mental health worker)
* Current registration with a relevant credentialling body (e.g., AHPRA)
* Demonstrated leadership experience of a multidisciplinary team
