Job Summary
This role involves working as an advocate and role model for vulnerable members of the community. Key responsibilities include:
* Evaluating and delivering evidence-based support plans
* Developing meaningful goals and strategies using a positive behaviour support framework
* Building the capacity and strengths of those who support participants, including family, carers and friends
* Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional (OT, Speech or Social Work)
* Experience creating, implementing and reviewing behaviour support plans
* Proficient, advanced or specialist status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
