Join us in making a difference!The RoleThe Manager of the Pause Program is responsible for driving the successful delivery of project outcomes that support individuals living with dementia and their carers throughout all stages of their journey access respite. The focus is on providing access to respite services that improve well-being and enhance support for both clients and their carers. This role will lead the development and management of the Pause Program over the grant period, working to improve respite outcomes, support carers, and assist people with dementia in maintaining independence in their home. The position involves close collaboration with clients and carers to design personalized respite experiences that meet their individual needs, goals, and preferences.This is a Fixed Part-time position, working 48 hours per fortnight.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation of the Pause Program, ensuring that clients and carers have access to timely and relevant information about dementia respite support.Accurately manage participant information using electronic client management systems, ensuring data is recorded and reports are generated to meet funding and program requirements.Leverage insights from the pilot program to develop and implement a dementia respite model that addresses the unique needs and experiences of both carers and individuals living with dementia.Provide individual and group education, information, and support on all aspects of dementia respite, catering to the needs of family carers and people living with dementia.Stay up to date with professional knowledge and best practices to ensure the provision of high-quality, evidence-based dementia respite support.A formal qualification or significant work experience in a related field, e.g. allied health, nursing.Current APHRA Registration without restrictions (preferred).National Police Clearance Certificate (no older than 6 months) or NDIS (Worker’s Screening) Check.Western Australian C Class Driver’s License.Proof of current influenza and Covid-19 vaccinations as per Amana Living policies.Successful completion of pre-employment forms.How to applyIf you are interested in this role and meet the essential criteria, please click the "apply now" button.
