As a Lecturer (Speech Pathology), you will play a significant role in the ongoing development of USQ’s offerings in Speech Pathology and related health programs, including internal and external accreditation.
Based at our Ipswich campus, you will work with a growing and diverse team while building strong linkages with industry and professional bodies to ensure ongoing professional relevance of awards, to access suitable student experiences, and to facilitate partnerships in applied research.
This position would be suitable for an early career researcher or a practitioner with industry experience looking to progress their career.
What you will need to succeed in this role:
* A Doctoral degree in an area relevant to Speech Pathology or progress towards gaining a PhD;
* Registration (or eligibility to register) as a Speech Pathologist by Speech Pathology Australia. Additional certification for clinical practice is desirable;
* Demonstrated ability to successfully teach into the Speech Pathology discipline incorporating contemporary, blended approaches;
* Experience with interprofessional education, novel placement models, Indigenous, regional, rural and remote health and, including but not limited to student led clinics; and/or
* A research track record, including high-quality publications, external funding or other relevant applied research outcomes.
