About the role
Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking energetic Registered Undergraduate Students of Midwifery (RUSOM) to join our Inpatient Postnatal Unit. Be part of a dynamic team in a Level 5 Maternity Service with 16 inpatient beds, 3-5 birthing suites, and a Level 4 Special Care Nursery (SCN).

Key Responsibilities
* Work with one or more Registered midwives to provide delegated care to a group of patients
* Maintain academic obligations in the Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery and remain an active student Skills and experience
* Ensure all patients, residents, families, clients, visitors and staff are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy
* Accept accountability and responsibility for providing a high standards of direct patient care within the scope and core duties
* Work collaboratively with both Grampians Health and the University to ensure the requirements of both organisations are met
Skills & Experience
* Currently completing second, third or fourth year of Bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery or Bachelor of Midwifery
* Registered as a student nurse with AHPRA with no conditions or undertakings
* Previous experience working in a healthcare setting would be an advantage
