Psychiatry Registrar Role
We are seeking experienced Psychiatry Registrars to join the Rural Psychiatry Training WA (RPTWA) program across rural Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Under the supervision of a Consultant Psychiatrist, provide assessment and management for clients requiring specialist psychiatric care.
* Work as an integral part of the multidisciplinary and medical teams.
Requirements:
* Current RANZCP trainee or on approved Break in Training.
* Ability to satisfy the Selection Panel of suitable academic record, RANZCP training record, and employment history.
* Commitment and eligibility to undertake psychiatry training.
* Clinical competence in both General Medicine and Psychological Medicine.
* Ability to use proficient problem-solving techniques, coping strategies, and ability to tolerate and deal effectively with stressful situations.
