Role We are looking for a Heavy-Duty Fitter to join the Mobile Maintenance Team at our Tom Price Mining Operation.This is a permanent, residential position based in Tom Price, working 4 days on, 4 nights on and 6 days off.You will be responsible for carrying out inspections, scheduled and breakdown maintenance to our fleet of heavy mobile equipment.Our fleet consists of Komatsu haul trucks, CAT Dozers, Graders and Loaders along with a fleet of ancillary and pumping equipment.We offer subsidised housing where you and your family will be able to explore the incredible Pilbara region and have access to excellent sporting and recreational facilities as well as a shopping centre, medical and education facilities.Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor and working in a challenging and exciting environment within the Mobile Maintenance Teams, you will be required to: Maintain a high level of safety awareness and comply with all RTIO Company Policies and procedures Conduct routine inspections of the digger fleet and determine repair action when required Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects – increasing safety whilst reducing risk & cost Utilise SAP to ensure that maintenance tasks are recorded, assigned correctly and completed to the relevant standard / specification This role is open to applicants who have a desire to relocate to Tom Price.What you will bring A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team A Heavy-Duty Fitter or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification Previous experience in maintaining and fault diagnosing open cut mining equipment.Experience working on Komatsu 830E trucks, Letourneau 1850 loaders, Hitachi 2500 & 3600 excavators and CAT graders, dozers and water carts.A current Western Australian C class driver's
