Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and objectives.
* Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favourable terms to optimise cost savings.
* Analyse pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
* Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficiently.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels.
* Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimise stock levels and minimise waste.
* Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance.
* Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
Requirements
* Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
* Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Experience with procurement software and inventory management systems (Purchase Plus preferred).
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
