Reporting to both the Human Resource Specialist and the Human Resources Operations Manager, you will provide expert HR advice to leaders across the business, ensuring alignment with operational objectives. You will also serve as a point of contact for the broader employee community, offering guidance to both leaders and employees on various HR matters. Additionally, you will coordinate HR-related activities for your client group to help achieve GPC’s goals.About the OpportunityEngage and deliver general business advice and support to Leaders and employees relating to operational HR mattersEnsure employee matters are managed through compliance with established Human Resources governance requirements and look for continuous improvement opportunities.Support Leaders and HR Specialists through implementation of performance processesProvide advice and support to leaders, applying comprehensive and fair grievance/dispute resolution, disciplinary and performance management processes, including case management.Provide generalist Industrial Relations advice, including EA, legislation, and policy interpretation.Support consultation mechanisms including effective engagement with external stakeholders such as unions.In conjunction with the HR Specialist ensure reliability of information systems for their client group by:Being the interface between Payroll and Human Resources systems.Providing support, guidance, and training to users of HR systems.Providing a responsive service to users of the systems.Undertaking relevant data collation and analysis, and system reportingAbout YouWe are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Human Resources Advisor with a strong personal drive and a natural ability to collaborate effectively. To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate a strict adherence to confidentiality, a keen attention to detail, and a drive to meet demands promptly. Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is crucial to influencing HR outcomes for the business.
