A leader at our Whyalla Residential Care Home, as a Registered Nurse you will deliver direct and comprehensive care to our residents, while supporting Enrolled Nurses and Residential Care Workers on shift.
You’ll also make an impact by:
* Using evidence-based approaches to deliver quality care to residents
* Ensuring assigned resident care is performed in line with care standards and Helping Hand policies and procedures
* Conducting assessments, reviews, coordinate care plans and medical/clinical interventions
* Liaising with family members, doctors, care workers and allied health professionals to support the wellbeing of the residents
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have
* Bachelor of Nursing qualification
* Current AHPRA registration
* The ability to operate smartphones and apps (such as Microsoft Outlook)
* Minimum of 2 years of work experience (experience in aged care is highly regarded)
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people
* The ability to contribute in a team, while demonstrating leadership skills to support and develop staff
* Demonstrated ability to make decisions, take initiative and work independently
* Experience with dementia care
