Our client, a multi-national scientific organisation are seeking a technically minded and passionate customer service consultant to work in their Service & Support team!
As a Service Operation Coordinator, you’ll be the crucial link between customers and the Service team. You will be the main contact for customers needing instrument repairs. Coordinating with Field Service Engineers to ensure timely scheduling, job completion, and accurate billing, all while delivering an excellent customer experience!
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Answering customer inquiries via telephone and Salesforce.
2. Dispatching Service Orders to engineers, scheduling and confirming bookings.
3. Liaising between customers and engineers, keeping both informed of job booking changes.
4. Ensuring service levels are met and proactively addressing risks of non-compliance.
5. Handling parts order processing and fulfillment.
6. Prioritizing delivery for Key Accounts and Priority customers.
7. Communicating parts ETA to Engineers and the Service back office.
8. Managing urgent parts orders and monitoring aging orders.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
9. 2+ years Customer Service or Call Centre experience
10. Supply Chain experience preferred but not essential
11. Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or business management would be ideal
12. Proficiency with Microsoft products, experience using CRMs and Excel
13. Effective problem-solving and multitasking skills
14. Customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
The ideal candidate will be available to commence immediately in Scoresby, working full time hours on a -month contract. You will be rewarded with an attractive hourly rate and exceptional support whilst working a Hybrid Work from Home model. Successful candidates will be considered for contract extension and/or permanency based on performance.
