Preferably with a baseline clearance or be eligible to apply for a baseline.Job Profile:We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator with good working skills with Hyper-V and Windows Servers to manage and maintain our Windows System and Server hyper visor platform.In this role, you will be responsible for installing or upgrading Windows-based systems and servers, managing user access to the servers, and maintaining the security and stability of the network. You will also be responsible for managing data security, configuring user access, and maintaining the stability of the system.This role has a hybrid working model - mix of both WFH and office/client site. Should be preferably be based in Melbourne/Victoria. However, we will be open to applicants based in Sydney with the right experience and attitude.Responsibilities:Assessing the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows systems.Discussing system and server upgrades with IT managers.Installing or upgrading Windows systems and servers.Providing technical support for staff and back-end system users.Troubleshooting system and server errors.Reviewing system error logs and user-reported errors.Monitoring and updating the Windows codebase.Managing user access.Monitoring system performance.Maintaining server architecture security#LI-KC1You will be successful in this role if you have:Proven work experience as a Windows Administrator.Should have atleast 2 years of relevant windows systems administration domain experience ideally preferred within a corporate or enterprise environment.Applicants need to be Australian Citizens. Preferably already have an active baseline clearance or be eligible to apply for one.Strong understanding of a large Windows server environment is a strong must have for this role.Working experience with Hyper - Visor is a must have for this role.Detailed knowledge of Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance.Active Directory Administration experience is highly desirable and good to have.Ability to create scripts in Power shellExperience with databases, patch management, and networks including LAN and WAN.Familiarity with modern operating systems and server platforms.Knowledge of network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.Experience in management in System Center Virtual machine managerExperience in management of Failover clusters.Should be preferably be based in Melbourne/Victoria.
