Job Description
As a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer at Brunel PNG, you will be responsible for:
1. Maintaining Temporary Repair registers and ensuring plans are in place to execute permanent repairs.
2. Developing Risk Based Inspection Strategies.
3. Developing repair scopes for pressure vessels, and providing guidance and advice to other engineers for developing repair scopes.
4. Responsible for the development of integrity management and inspection strategies for pressure systems, pipelines, and tanks.
5. Reviewing, assessing, and updating integrity management and inspection data for pressure systems, pipelines, and tanks.
6. Providing effective technical advice to inspectors and engineers, ensuring threats are evaluated, procedures are followed, and work is completed in accordance with company technical procedures.
7. Organising and/or conducting Fitness for Service assessments for piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.
8. Ensuring that any actions arising from inspection activities are fully reported and communicated with maintenance superintendents, reliability superintendents, and maintenance and reliability engineers.
9. Performing effective review of inspection data, results trending and remnant life assessments, performing fitness-for-service assessments, and providing recommendations for repair and replacement methodologies.
10. Conducting root cause analysis and failure investigation on systems and equipment, as required.
Introduction
We are looking for a Senior Asset Integrity Engineer to join our team at Brunel Papua New Guinea. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing asset integrity and inspection strategies for piping, tanks, and pressure vessels for the Autoclave Area, Grinding, and Tanks and Tails area. This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced engineer with a passion for ensuring the safety and reliability of critical infrastructure.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A degree in engineering or a related field.
2. At least 5 years' experience in asset integrity management, preferably in the mining space.
3. Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
4. Experience in risk assessments and the development of asset integrity management plans.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
