Your new role in Fyshwick awaits.
As a Plant Mechanic you will assume responsibility for the efficient and effective servicing of our extensive range of hire equipment and machinery. Work on various diesel and electric general hire equipment always ensuring exceptional customer service and a high standard of safety.
You will also be responsible for
• Diagnosing and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment
• Maintaining up-to-date service records for all service and repair work
• Minimise operational downtime of equipment
• Promote a Safety First, Zero Harm culture – champion safety with your colleagues and customers.
In addition to effective time management, attention to detail and strong commitment to safety you will also need to have:
• Relevant trade qualifications
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic, and preventative maintenance skills
• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics pneumatics and basic electrical skills
• A forklift ticket (highly regarded)
