Pro-actively work with retailers and key stakeholders to develop and execute plans/programs that further improve network profitability. Monitor all areas of retailer performance via the global financial reporting platform to enhance network operational effectiveness which will enable optimal levels of both customer satisfaction and retention with due compliance to global retail standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and implementation of programs with targeted actions that improve retailer profitability.Use of financial modelling, related tools and capacity planning to determine retailer viability, ensuring the JLR network is adequately resourced to deliver upon sales volume and customer experience objectives.Consultation with the overseas market teams and the retailer network to develop action plans for the improvement of underperforming retailer profitability.Ad hoc analysis and interpretation of emerging financial trends in the network.Knowledge sharing of best practice measures via the regional teams and other international markets.Act as principal coordinator of financial loss-making retailers through clear communication, problem identification and tracking of results for internal reference.Work with external professional services to provide expert support to the retailer network and markets.Administer & control retailer standards programs for engagement, progress and results including variable margin, operations, NPS, Retailer of the Year (ROTY) & other initiatives mandated by management.Manage the budget for the ROTY program, and other responsibilities within the position remit.Lead quarterly retailer review meetings to identify causal effects and coordinate reform of the most acute underperformers.Ensure business management (global composite platform) reports and business planning outputs meet the requirements for both local market usage and Regional / HQ functions such as CS, APO, F&B and FS.Co-ordinate and drive utilisation of the Global Business Management Program / Business Planning Tool.Evolve reporting for management use summarising retailer business performance and planning.Develop a model to capture competitor intelligence for benchmarking and trend analysis.Research and compile ad hoc and other reports as required.Development of internal JLR and external retailer reports with relevant KPI’s and related data.Supporting the MBO department in activities with internal teams and retailers.Aid the network planning process throughout all stages up to full sign-off of strategic plans.Liaise with appointed 3rd party suppliers and support market studies to develop JLR strategic plans.Contribute to large complex projects in cross functional teams as a subject matter expert.Assume key stakeholder status within the MBO team to develop project plans for key initiatives.Analyse sales and customer service experience trends at a retail network level.Consult with other departmental teams to mentor retailers in the achievement of customer experience objectives.Co-ordinate retailer profit improvement meetings.Manage use of the retailer business plan template providing guidance to stakeholders for its completion.Manage retailer systems access to Global Retailer Portal (GRP) via the single sign-on (SSO) protocol.Undertake other work as directed by the line manager in connection with the role as requested periodically.WHAT YOU’LL NEEDKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceDegree level qualification, preferably with an accounting major.Understanding of retailer sales and aftersales KPI’s.Experience of network / franchise development.Project management and analytical skills.Understanding of the drivers for retailer operations.Knowledge of retailer processes/culture.Operational / field experience.Personal ProfileClear communication.Numeracy.Networking / relationship skills.Perseverance.Problem solving.#WEAREJLRAt Jaguar Land Rover, we are passionate about our people.
