The Role
The Quality Assurance Business Partner will coordinate and maintain the site quality management systems, with a focus on ensuring internal and external compliance requirements.
They will report into the Quality Manager and act as a 2IC.
* Evaluate product food safety & quality standards
* Collaborate with the site team to achieve targets and milestones in food safety & quality
* Implement proactive product quality risk mitigation strategies
* Supervise, mentor, and coordinate quality officers' day-to-day activities
* Maintain compliance to the Food Safety Plan and improve it where possible, including Prerequisite Programs, CCPs, and QCPs
* Support and Coach the QC staff and reports, developing a succession plan for the department
Skills & Experience
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
* A food industry background is highly regarded
* Collaborative approach with strong communication skills
* Ability to problem-solve and identify a way forward when faced with issues
* Demonstrated effectiveness in team engagement, cultural change, and process improvement
* Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
