Perennial Psychology has strong ties to public health and is passionate about offering bulk-billing places.
If willing and motivated, clinicians will have the opportunity to be part of the public-health low-income stream, where we take bulk-billing/low-cost referrals from psychiatrists and clinicians from the public health system (predominantly our local catchment areas).
This, however, is not a requirement of the role.
What we can offer you… A values-based service that aims to foster our development as clinicians and develop our collegial relationships with each other.Supervision and reading groups to enhance our practice and reduce isolation, and proper external paid CPD opportunities.Regular social events to enhance our collegial relationships.Admin support that is catered to your preference and needs as a clinician.Expectations around a reasonable and steady caseload to support work/life balance and protect against burnout.Dedicated marketing and intentional effort to increase your desired caseload via our existing referral pathways.Therapy rooms that have been curated with thoughtfulness and intention.An opportunity to help build the culture and presence of an emerging practice.What we're looking for… Full AHPRA registered psychologists - either general or specialised, though clinical endorsement highly favourable.Desire to work with a broad and diverse range of cases.Registration as a Medicare provider, Professional Indemnity insurance, and Working with Children's Check required.Able to commit to at least two days a week (sessions can be flexible across AM, PM, and evening blocks).At least three years experience post Masters/Doctorate training.A conscientious, motivated professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills and stringent record-keeping abilities.Public health background is highly regarded but not necessary.Private practice experience is highly favourable but not necessary.Please note: We appreciate that all psychologists have different clinical backgrounds and varying levels of experience.
