**About the Role**
We are seeking a part-time Community Practitioner to provide counselling and support to individuals, young people, and families in Rockhampton. The successful applicant will have experience in case management and client support, with a track record in delivering professional counselling and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accept referrals from State Government or other community agencies to assist families in developing knowledge and skills.
* Engage young people, carers, and families through counselling and strength-based therapeutic interventions.
* Promote positive working relationships with stakeholders and networks.
* Support young people to manage maladaptive and challenging behaviours.
Mandatory Requirements:
* Bachelor or post-graduate qualifications in Social Services, Psychology, Counselling, or similar.
* Experience in a similar counselling role is highly desirable.
